Whoa! CNN used Microsoft Photosynth to compile a THREE DIMENSIONAL VIEW of the moment when Obama took the oath of office!!! Let’s go look at it!!!

Am I being too cynical here, or is it perfectly okay to criticize this for looking like crap as soon as you click on something?

Yeah, yeah, it’s “in Labs” or whatever, but that’s no excuse for a completely unusable interface.

      It seems fine to me. I don’t know how you managed those screenshots.

      From what I’ve seen it seems to be working fine.

        Clicking and moving the mouse did the trick.

        Granted, this weirdness sometimes fades away as soon as you stop moving, but it fades into something you didn’t intend or expect. But then, what would you reasonably expect the 3D view to look like if the rotation glitches out like this?
